how to apply pancard online step by step

📝 Step 1: Visit Official Website

• NSDL (Protean): https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com

• Income Tax Portal (Instant e-PAN): https://www.incometax.gov.in

📂 Step 2: Choose Application Form

• Select “New PAN Card – Form 49A” (for Indian Citizens).

• For foreigners, it’s Form 49AA.

👤 Step 3: Fill in Personal Details

• Full Name (as per Aadhaar)

• Father’s Name / Mother’s Name

• Date of Birth

• Gender

• Mobile Number & Email ID

• Address (for card delivery)

📎 Step 4: Submit Documents

Upload scanned copies of:

• Proof of Identity (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, DL)

• Proof of Address (Aadhaar, Passport, Electricity Bill, Bank Statement)

• Proof of DOB (Aadhaar, Birth Certificate, 10th Marksheet)

• Passport-size Photo & Signature 

💳 Step 5: Pay Application Fee

• Around ₹100 – ₹120 for Indian residents.

• Payment options: Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, Wallets.

📩 Step 6: Verification

• Complete OTP Verification (on Aadhaar-linked mobile).

• Submit the form.

• You will receive a 15-digit Acknowledgment Number to track status.

📬 Step 7: Receive PAN Card

• e-PAN (Digital Copy): Delivered to your email in 5–7 working days.

• Physical PAN Card: Sent to your home address by post in 10–15 working days.
